Hyderabad, June 3: A comprehensive statistical analysis of the Compassionate Citizenship Program implemented by COVA Peace Network has revealed significant positive changes in students’ social awareness, environmental consciousness, civic responsibility, leadership skills, and community participation.
The study examined data collected through Pre, Mid, and Post surveys conducted between 2022 and 2026 to assess the effectiveness of the program in shaping responsible and compassionate citizens among school students.
To ensure scientific accuracy, researchers employed a range of statistical tools including Frequency Distribution Analysis, Percentage Analysis, Comparative Analysis, Chi-Square Test of Association, Pearson’s Chi-Squared Test, Trend Analysis, and Impact Evaluation Analysis.
The findings indicate substantial improvements across multiple dimensions of student development:
- Social Awareness: Significant improvement
- Environmental Consciousness: Strong improvement
- Civic Responsibility: Noticeable enhancement
- Social Sensitivity: Increased considerably
- Community Participation: Higher engagement levels
- Leadership Development: Marked improvement
According to the impact evaluation, students demonstrated greater awareness of social issues, stronger commitment to environmental protection, improved participation in community initiatives, and enhanced leadership qualities.
The final report concludes that the Compassionate Citizenship Program has produced measurable and meaningful improvements in students’ awareness, participation, compassion, and responsible citizenship behavior.
The statistical findings strongly support the continuation and expansion of similar citizenship and social awareness programs across educational institutions to promote holistic student development and contribute to the well-being of society and the nation.
As part of the initiative, students also launched a Plastic-Free Schools Campaign, highlighting the program’s emphasis on environmental responsibility and civic engagement.
