Hyderabad : In a significant step towards promoting patriotism and humanitarian service, a delegation from the Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha paid a courtesy visit to His Excellency Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla, Hon’ble Governor of Telangana, at Lok Bhavan, Hyderabad, and presented the official poster of the patriotic short film “Hum Desh Premi.”
During the meeting, the delegation briefed the Hon’ble Governor about the film’s vision, objectives, and the nationwide social awareness campaign that will accompany its release.
The delegation included Major General N. Srinivas Rao, National Vice President, Executive Council Member and President of Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha Telangana; Major General Naozar B. Patel; Smt. Anuradha Rao; Gaurav Senani Gopu Ramana Reddy; and Dr. (Hon.) Yogesh Raj Srivastava, Promoter of Hum Desh Premi and Director, Information & Public Relations, Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha.
Addressing the Governor, Dr. (Hon.) Yogesh Raj Srivastava explained that Hum Desh Premi is far more than a patriotic short film. It is the centerpiece of a nationwide Blood Donation and Organ Donation Awareness Campaign dedicated to the Armed Forces and their families. The initiative seeks to motivate citizens—particularly the youth—to contribute to nation-building through voluntary blood and organ donation while fostering the values of patriotism, humanity, and social responsibility.
The delegation also shared details of the proposed nationwide outreach campaign that will accompany the film. Appreciating the noble initiative, Governor Shri Shiv Pratap Shukla lauded the humanitarian vision behind the project and conveyed his best wishes for the successful implementation of the campaign across the country.
On the occasion, Major General N. Srinivas Rao also briefed the Governor on the various social welfare initiatives undertaken by Rashtriya Sainik Sanstha Telangana for serving soldiers, veterans, and society at large. He also highlighted the organization’s future plans aimed at strengthening public participation in national service and community welfare.
Expressing optimism about the campaign’s impact, the delegation said that Hum Desh Premi has the potential to inspire millions of Indians to embrace the spirit of patriotism while encouraging voluntary blood donation and organ donation as meaningful acts of service to the nation.
The initiative aspires to unite citizens under the shared values of national pride, compassion, and selfless service, reinforcing the message that every individual can contribute to the nation’s progress through humanitarian action.
