Hyderabad: Egg distribution and awareness program organized by the Avian Vets Association (AVA) at Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad in presence of hospital management and doctors. Dr. S. Ravinder Reddy and Dr. Srinivasa Rao. R from AVA contributed significantly making the event a success. On this occasion, Dr. Rajkumari, Superintendent, Gandhi Hospital, Dr. Seshadri, Civil Surgeon, Administration RMO1, Dr. Rajani, Deputy Civil Surgeon, RMO2, Dr. Sudheer, Civil Assistant Surgeon, RMO, along with other RMOs, other staff and police personnel were present. In this event, 6000 boiled eggs were distributed among patients, doctors, supporting staff, and police personnel.

The importance of egg consumption was discussed during the program. Even today, a large population of children in India suffers from malnutrition. Additionally, consuming eggs can be beneficial for immunity across all age groups.
