Tokyo/Hyderabad, April 2025: In a major boost to India’s AI infrastructure ambitions, global IT services leader NTT DATA and AI-first cloud platform Neysa Networks have signed a landmark tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana. A Giant Leap for India’s AI Capabilities

The proposed 400 MW data center cluster will be one of the most advanced AI infrastructure projects in the country. Designed to host 25,000 GPUs, the facility aims to power public and enterprise-level AI workloads across sectors. With this move, Telangana is positioning itself as India’s AI capital, enabling sovereign, scalable, and sustainable AI computing solutions.

As part of the broader vision, the center will partner with Telangana’s top academic institutions to develop AI talent and strengthen digital public infrastructure.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy emphasized Telangana’s readiness to lead in the digital age, stating:

“Telangana offers policy stability, strategic location, high-quality electric power, skilled talent, and quick clearances through our single-window system. We welcome NTT DATA’s long-term commitment to build the future of AI and digital services from Hyderabad.”

He added warmly:

“On behalf of the people of Telangana — Arigatō Gozaimasu. Or, in my Telugu language, Dhanyavadalu.”
