Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | September 11, 2025: In a significant move to bolster bilateral trade and investment opportunities, an official Indian delegation representing the Eurasia Afro Chamber of Commerce (EACC) embarked on a high-level visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this week. The delegation aims to enhance India-Saudi Arabia trade cooperation and explore strategic partnerships across key sectors such as energy, technology, healthcare, infrastructure, and defense.
The Indian team is being represented by Dr. Prince Yakub Shahrukh Uddin Tucy, Indo-USA Trade Co-Ordinator, Global Team – Zonal Level (EACC), and Dr. Prince Yakub Wajhi Uddin Tucy, Indo-Saudi Trade Co-Ordinator, Global Team – Zonal Level (EACC). Both leaders are part of the EACC Global Team, which has an extensive presence in 38 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East.
Speaking about the visit, Dr. Prince Yakub Wajhi Uddin Tucy emphasized the long-standing cultural and economic ties between India and Saudi Arabia, highlighting the tremendous potential for collaboration in areas such as renewable energy, information technology, pharmaceuticals, and the startup ecosystem.
“This visit is aimed at not just strengthening existing trade relations but also identifying new avenues for investment and cooperation. With Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and India’s rapidly growing economy, both nations stand to gain immensely from enhanced collaboration,” he stated.
Dr. Prince Yakub Shahrukh Uddin Tucy underlined the importance of global partnerships, adding that the EACC’s role is pivotal in facilitating trade diplomacy and connecting businesses across continents.
“The Eurasia Afro Chamber of Commerce serves as a vital bridge between governments and businesses. Our focus is on creating sustainable trade frameworks and fostering trust-driven partnerships,” he noted.
The visit is expected to include high-level meetings with Saudi government officials, leading business conglomerates, and trade bodies. Discussions will focus on joint ventures, investment opportunities, and bilateral agreements that align with Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Vision 2030 reforms and India’s Make in India initiative.
